I had this image in my head of young Severus having a habit of whispering things to Lily between classes, and then running away blushing. Sometimes he'd say something clever he thought of, or give her the answers to a homework assignment, or tell her that Potter boy is up to no good again. But he could never work up to courage to tell her how he really felt.

The colors! Those adorable poses! The way Snape's pinching a little piece of Lily's sleeve and his argyle socks and Oxfords and your little description and nnnnnnnngh. I have so much all-around love for this.
